Today we are going to learn five beautiful facts about butterflies. Fact number one, butterflies are beautiful insects known for the brightly colored wings, which come in various shapes, sizes, and patterns. These vibrant colors can serve several purposes, such as attracting mates, warning predators, that they are toxic or unplayable, or helping them blend into their environment for camouflage. Fact number two, butterflies have four distinct stages in their lifecycle, egg, caterpillar or lava, chrysalis or puer and adult. The entire process is called metamorphosis.
