Ancient Greek clothes were made from materials like linen and wool. Linen was made from the fibers of the flax plant, and wool was made from the hair of sheep. The linen was used for the undergarments and the wool for the outer garments, this combination helped to keep the body warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Men and women in Ancient Greece wore different types of clothes. Men usually wore a tunic, which was a long piece of cloth that was wrapped around the body and fastened at the shoulder with a fibula. They also wore a cloak called a himation which they could use to keep warm or as a protection from sun. They also wore a belt called a zona to keep the tunic in place. Men also wore sandals or boots.
